1000th liker

We've got 1000th liker just couple months from breaking the 500th liker limit. Setti went social media in May, so it's been big success to receive 1000 likers in just three months.

Setti masterserver updated

Major improvement to Setti masterserver has been activated today. From now on Setti masterserver prioritizes nearest servers for the user.

The servers are categorized based on country and continent. All users first receive the servers from their own country and then from their own continent. After that rest of the servers are shown. This helps receiving the lowest ping servers at first.

For example user in Finland would first receive all servers in Finland, then all servers in Europe, and then rest of the servers all around the world. That way the lowest ping servers, located in Finland, are shown in the server browser as soon as possible. The European servers are shown quickly after that, and the high ping servers across the seven seas are shown as the last. User from Brazil would obviously receive the servers in totally different order.

1) Preconfigured menu for Setti servers
2) Working favorites/History
3) Preconfigured rates & lerp 
4) Name changing - by "name" command in console
5) SFX archive(no installer), just browse for your games folder and it will
   extract/create "Counter Strike Source 2010" folder there
6) Make game shortcut on desktop by pressing "place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe"
7) Run game as Administrator to avoid problems

Setti's facebook record: 500 likers

Setti has reached 500 likers at facebook in short time. About month ago Setti went social media and now we have 500 likers. It's nice record.

Digg.com and Google's buzz weren't so much of a success. Currently we have only facebook like, facebook share and del.icio.us bookmarks on the site. They seem to be the most popular, at least in the western countries.

Also the twitter box has proven to be nice easy way to write about smaller updates. Thanks Twitter!

Setti goes social media

Facebook's Like button was big success for Setti. We have in few days nearly 300 likers.

Setti is also in Twitter now. Follow us at Settigames twitter. In the top right you find also link to Google's buzz, which probably is big thing because it's Google :)

Once more thanks to translators. Just look at the servers page and tell me another page where you find as many different language options. YAY! Good work.

Meanwhile in other news: we also broke yesterday our record of simultaneous users on the forum. The new record is 69 users. Good us!
