Another good program is AutoHotkey. It is actually a scripting language which can do pretty amazing stuff. The good thing is that there are lots of people who do the hacking for you.
One absolutely must have is a easy window dragging. With that plugin it’s possible to drag windows by pressing some key (I have it set to ALT) and left click on the window and drag it. That is especially nice if you have lots of open windows on the desktop and you’d like to move some window behind other windows. That can be done without bringing the window on top of other windows. Also it’s possible to move windows which are inactive. Eg. normally popup which waits for OK / Cancel blocks moving of the window which caused the popup. With easy window dragging it’s possible to move any window any time. It’s even possible to start CS:S fullscreen and move that window around.
Another good is VirtuaWin which is just basic virtual desktops. VirtuaWin won some SF best application award some year.

Yup, you were right k1ller, it is a must have
I think i`ll find it most useful in Photoshop, since you can drag any window no matter where it is or what it is, you can even drag the toolbars in Photoshop
As for the virtual desktops, I never fancied them. All they make for me is a big mess. You want extra space, go buy yourself another monitor, even if it is a crappy one
