If you put youtube links inside [a href=…] tags then the videos will be embedded on the blog page.
The links on the main blogs page don’t work properly because you edited the default “hello world” entry. In future if you make more blog posts the links will work too.
What comes to the videos… well, some people have too much time on their hands.
