Probably your antivirus blocks all bat files.

I disable my Norton Antivirus Auto-Protect and turned on "Silent mode" everytime i installed it, and got the previous problem.

Then uninstall norton.

When I patch the game and want to play I got this Error! Can't find background image 'materials/console/background01.vtf'

You extracted patch to wrong folder and you are trying to run game without other game files, so extract to proper CS:S game folder.

Damn something seems to have changed overnight and I haven't added the servers to favorites. Now the internet games aren't showing up. Worked last night 'till I went to bed, worked for the past few weeks. :/

Tried with the firewall disabled and it just crashes. Tried with blocking 2 port 80 connections on startup and allowing the rest; It doesn't crash, but it doesn't load the list. Only blocking:

Edit: And.... Today it's fetching the list of servers. Again, I haven't touched a single thing in my config (ffs).

Thing is that last version of revemu is made like that - if it for some reason can't connect to its ads partners, then it doesn't show all servers in internet tab (only servers from friends tab - witch is paid service, made by revemu developer).

We updated the CSS, already tried to reinstall!

Turns out our list of servers appears only 201 servers, and all foreign
inlusive cracked servers that are on this list: http://css.setti.info/servers/css/
does not appear, anyone know how to solve?

I'm launching the game with "-dxlevel 110", when I change the graphic settings in console can I observe this error "Unable to remove c:\program files (x86)\counter-strike source\counter strike source 2010\cstrike\textwindow_temp.html!" please help me, I can't play in ultra settings, and my favorite server kick me bc my dxlevel is 70.

My specs:
Graphic Card: GTX 560 Ti 1gigs VRam, 4 gigs Ram, i7 2700K @ 4 ghz, P67 Extreme 6

Nonsense, latest version CS:S doesn't support directx 11 or "110", 7 too. Btw hat message is not "error".

Hi, i just install the new patch. Now every Setti server says that im banned (i am only able to play on the new one). I tried everything. Somebody here who can help me?

When I join in servers, I connect then it says hl2.exe has stopped.

I posted yesterday, but it hasn't been approved or something; it's not showing. Basically mine started crashing out-of-the-blue also, and after I tried about 100 things (defragmenting, page file, cache, blah, blah), I figured out that selectively blocking outgoing port 80 connections for hl2.exe stopped it from happening. So far I got:

While some of these may be legitimate game servers, it hasn't crashed once since I've been blocking them. I also found that the game is sneaky and it will try to squeeze in another connection when connecting to the game server (not only on startup). Possibly looks like some kind of built-in protection and while I may be wrong (really no nerves to look up those IPs), the game is working.

Developer of revemu is trying to make money from some ads traffic, sad that it makes game crash...

Why is that when i am trying to run setup from your given torrent my Windows 7 freezes either restart itself or i have to restart!! what's the problem!! also setup get freezed in Windows XP too! i can't figure out what's the problem!!! :'(

Virtual LAN IP's first three parts must be same, example -> 222.222.222.001 and your friend's 222.222.222.005.
Try to use Tunngle, for games it is better than Hamachi
