I would just like to share a minute's silence for the awesomeness that was Setti 2 custom maps.

 

Now populated by players who go by the name of Alan and Ted, this once fine example of a thriving Setti community server has been gradually eroded down to a BOT fest with the occasional 2 vs 2 human players who frequent the site.

 

Was it the addition of old, tired maps? Was it the forced 3 week sabbatical?.... we'll never know

 

I'm off to play GO and BF3 with my new rig.

You are right. I play 1 v 1 with bots. Nothing we can do about it .

hmmmm, this i what i said weeks ago.....without server boost setti is dead. i don't understand why setti fall so bad, when i firsT joined here all servers were FULL of players, now.........you know. 

like i said only way to bring back setti glory its AGRESSIVE BOOST.

Your grasp for the irony may not be for everyone but yeah among other things you may have a point.

A boost wont get old setti regulars back. Might get new players. We were a family wich now is divorced.

Comforted by the fact that I grieve not alone, I will keep frequenting Setti 2 (albeit on a far less frequent basis) to see what the old gang are up to and to try to revive a bygone era.

 

Melancholy is an unattractive trait so rather than wallow in despair I choose toI hope to run into you all if only to pass on new server ID's to play together again.
