Have you installed it now?

I installed it on the Dust2 server. There weren't any dislikes. I will install it on the rest servers too, except the DM server.

I don't ignore it. It's almost 50/50. When it's 50/50 you can choose whether to install it or not. And since the positive votes are more, i chose to install it and then check the in game reactions. Besides i don't think that anyone else will vote. Yesterday some players bet, others not but nobody gave any negative votes about the plugin. A few hours ago i joined the Dust2 server and some players bet too.

I was very dubious about bet plugin and I gave it some serious thought whether I should vote Yes or No.

 

The first fact came to my mind was that bet plugin could be quite helpful for the losing team to earn some money and buy better guns.

 

On the other hand, afaik there's already installed some kind of balance plugin where players with good scores moving to losing team so, they can win the next couple of rounds, buy some guns and game will be balanced after all.

 

But, IMO, balance plugin can't be reliable. The reason is that some players have good scores on the winning team just because they are carried by some good players and when they move to the losing team they are not that helpful.

 

So, bet plugin removes some of the game's realism but if balance is what we are looking for then this feature will help in many occasions.

 

 

P.S. My personal experience was very encouraging, I placed 2-3 successful bets and helped me be more competitive.

meh, I dislike this plugin. Actually my vote doesn't matter because I'm not playing anymore (this may change lol).

For me it sucks just because it feels less vanilla.
