The up to date version of directx is :DirectX SDK ( june 2010 )
The Runtime is: DirectX end-user ( june 2010 )
Install Directx DSK 1st, then install the Runtimes.

After you install both updates go to:
http://www.update.mi...t.aspx?ln=en-us
And check for new updates..
2nd- in you graphic card settings:
Leave both anti-aliasing and anisoctropic fliltering as ( application managed )
Enable ( triple buffering ) in the open GL settings.
Keep all other settings on balanced * your system will be more stable this way *
