hi i cant make a desktop shorcut can you help me?
when i do it and i open it thats show that "can't find hl.exe"
and i dont know how start the game without unwid the game with winrar
(sorry for my english i'm french :-P)

Which game did you try?
How did you make the shortcut?
You can also make a shortcut for hl.exe
add the following parameters -steam -game cstrike (or dod.... valve etc...)

Did I read this correctly? Does this mean I will be able to play Half-Life 1 multiplayer?

I used to love playing that with my buddies at school, so much fun during class

You can play it of course.
There are hundreds no steam HL1 players

i have try for cs condition zero and cs classic
when i make a shortcut for hl.exe and i launch it it write "could not find filesystem dll to load"

The goldscr pack works perfectly (it crashes when i choose 32bit colour but making it 16bit fixes it) I really want to play deleted seens but hl.exe was not found I have put it in the same folder as GoldSrc but no luck any help in the mean time ill search the internet...

Ran every instance in after unraring them with czds "can't find hl.exe" with others they hang/unresponsive after clicking any option other then exit/quit.
Mine is a xp sp3 and i can't figure out what's the prob. Help needed pls.

Put the deleted scenes folder where the hl.exe is

Im getting an "error running game: could not find steam.exe launch" when trying to launch hl and hlds. Any ideas of what's going on and how to solve it?

Condition Zero, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Half Life (the one that actually says HalfLife not "hl"), Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Ricochet, Team Fortress Classic, and Deathmatch Classic are working 100%.
