I have no idea what you are guessing, let's try this other way. What is the technical problem that -port command or clientport command resolves? How does it apply in this case that we've been discussing in this thread? How does rEV emu connect to either thing? What did you read at Steampowered forums?
@ Other readers
Peachkeem has no idea what he is talking about. Clientport setting has been discussed at Setti forums earlier in different context. The -port command is serverside setting, not for clients. He is just guessing random stuff until he hits the right note.

I have read that some ppl have problem connection to the server from the same ip and a given solution was changing ports that clients connect to the server. It was said that this is random problem, someone have it while others don’t. And it was talking about steam and not about rev-emu.What is the technical problem that -port command or clientport command resolves?
What did you read at Steampowered forums?
It doesn’t. I just replied to your post.How does it apply in this case that we've been discussing in this thread?
I think it's also impossible for players from same IP to play at the same time too
If I think now and we talk about ports. Early versions rev-emu were generating id’s based on ip, today version based on hwid so I think earlier versions has something with it.How does rEV emu connect to either thing?
Yes I have to admit that I was guessing. I never used clientport command because I didn’t needed, but I knew that it has something to do with ports because I already read about that once. So I was guessing the right command name and later after k1ller’s post I looked in console for the right client side command name.The -port command is serverside setting, not for clients. He is just guessing random stuff until he hits the right note.
pls don't blame me, I was forcedAll I see here is a weird choice of Logitech G15 advertisement

Fofo had the same problem some time ago. I don't know if he still has slow loading time. Check this thread: http://css.setti.inf...-setti-website/BTW... why the fuck it takes 5 minutes for me to load setti web-page?

It's annoying to read your posts because you only know the surface of the stuff that you are talking about.Early versions rev-emu were generating id’s based on ip, today version based on hwid so I think earlier versions has something with it.
It is true that rEV emu can generate SteamIDs based on hardware but only when the client is using rEV emu too. How can server know client's hwid if the client isn't "rEV compliant"? What happens if Setti's server scanner joins a rEV-emulated server? Does the rev-server know Setti's hardware configuration then?
Actually your posts apply to the "PS. chapter" in this thread: http://css.setti.inf...dpost__p__5775. Wait, you are the same guy who posted there. Coincidence? No!

Just gonna say that I had best laugh in weeks lols. At my lunch brake I coded a simple plugin as well. Its relatively easy to use. Needs a bit tweaking if u want to compile doh.
// Peach
#include <nonsense>
using peachkeen deem;
int main () {
cout << "please provide demos/ticks of obvious cheating" << endl;
cin >> demo;
else STFU;
return (0);
}
It gives away or proves that "cheater" innocent very fast. Only in beta stage. Bugs may occur.
I can later add different prog, compiled one and ported to windows. What it does is: learns you a lesson not to open downloaded exe files from forums. Very educational. Well recommended.
