Buddy i wanted to approve your post but i deleted it by mistake. I'm using my mobile phone right now and it's a bit difficult. :s
Look it's simple:
You download the 4 parts of the server and the 2 update patches.
Then you extract the installer of the server from the 4 parts you downloaded.
You install the server. After that you extract the installer of the v0 to v5 update patch and you install it in the folder i mention in the instructions.
Then you do the same with the v5 to v6 update patch.
Finally you run the SRCDS Updater-Patcher via the desktop shortcut and you do what the instructions say.

The installation instructions are very clear and detailed. There is also a nice FAQ there. I'm sure you will have no issue on installing the gungame mod. But even if you do, you can ask and receive help from there too. The AlliedModers community is very friendly and helpful. But! If you ask their help, never mention that your server is non-steam. They don't help in this occasion. It's one of their rules.

And of course you can always receive help here too.

Btw you shouldn't update the server every time. Something is going wrong. I will try to find what's going on and i will let you know.

I just finished the testing.

I downloaded the 4 parts and the 2 update patches. I extracted the installer of the server and i installed it.

Then i installed the update patch v0 => v5 and then the update patch v5 => v6.

I downloaded the latest snapshot of MetaMod and SourceMod and i extracted both in the "...\css_ds\update" folder.

Then i downloaded the latest version of RevEmu and i extracted the "server" folder in the "...\css_ds\update" folder.

After that i run the SRCDS Updater-Patcher. I typed "1" to update the server files, "2" to update MetaMod and SourceMod and "3" to crack/patch my server.

All those steps were done properly and successfully.

Then i run my server via the SRCDS Launcher. My server run successfully without any error. Even the "Unable to load Steam library..." error didn't happen.

Finally i run my CSS client (that i have downloaded and installed from here [Setti]).

I click on the server browser and then on the "Lan" tab. I double click my server and i get the steam validation rejected error.

To solve this i didn't do something special. I closed my CSS client and my server completely. I didn't restart the server. I closed it completely.

Then i run my server and my CSS client again. I connect to my server and this time no error at all.

Ok of course i will help you but you must tell me which war plugin you want so i help you. Because as far as i know there are many plugins for war matches. I'm planning to:
1) Simplify this release by making the 4 parts of the server only 1 with size 200 mb max. Also by making the 2 update patches only 1. All of you who have already downloaded and installed this release will not have to redownload and reinstall anything.

2) Install Linux under VMware Workstation and make this release for Linux too.

Take a look at this tutorial by VALVe so you install the server on Linux. The app_id for the CSS server is 232330. After you install the server i will tell you how to crack/patch it if you don't know how, so to make the server non-steam.

The app_id for the CSS server is 240.

It should be 232330 nowadays for the server.
