i think i gonna update to 1.5.1 in the next days

a few plugins will not work, anyway

 

 

at special Towny ..

the project is dead

i cant update without Towny, or remove Townyworld

complete...

Do what you have to do but preserve the world and don't erase settings of Towny ... just move them to another place not to be loaded on start.

The Towny world can be protected with WorldGuard. Cities are compact and it's easy to protect them from the bottom to the sky.

You can protect them before disabling Towny and upgrade so WorldGuard data will be loaded after the upgrade.

I dont know if setti_farm has a point after this ... dont delete the world but unload it from Multiverse.

when i google for towny 1.5.1 i find a few servers (1.5.1) with towny

running on them ... there must be an update,

but i cant find it

Towny should be here on this webpage and they have 1.5 builds there too.

if they have 1.5 build, they hide it pretty good.

all i can read is 1.4.x

Put the old worlds please in a backup folder then go for it.

Try with large biomes in server settings ... it should be better with larger biomes.

i think the 1.6 update is fine for a reset

that maybe will bring back bored players

Do what you have to do but don't delete anything, we have huge projects on the server and it would be a tragedy to loose them.

Still I rather see fewer players and great builds than loads of kids that build dirt houses and wooden shacks. And btw we can't access our towns since the update, we get "no permission"  messages.
