As you mentioned srcds.exe, I guess you're using a Windows OS.

I would recommend you to download Revemu. You can download the newest version here: http://rghost.ru/pri...f5469d0d5e22fc1

After you extracted the archive, navigate to the server folder. Now upload the rev.ini and the steam_appid.txt file to the folder where srcds.exe is located.

Then copy over the bin/Steam folder, the bin/Steam.dll and bin/steamclient.dll files. These files have to go into the bin folder of course as you can see at the folder structure.

The bin/Steam.dll_fix Vityan_tf2.7z, bin/Steam.dll_rev.7z, bin/Steam_static_void.7z and the platform folder is not necessary.

Now start the server the usual way (srcds.exe).

Dafuck? O^O

I know the process like this:

1. Download RevEmu.
2. Extract.
3. Open the "server" folder of RevEmu and copy the "rev.ini" file and paste it in the folder where the "srcds.exe" file is.
4. Open the "bin" folder of RevEmu and copy the "Steam.dll" file and paste it in the folder where the "srcds.exe" file is.
5. Go to the "bin" folder of your server and rename the "steamclient.dll" file to "steamclient_valve.dll".
6. Copy "steamclient.dll" file from the "bin" folder of RevEmu and paste it in the "bin" folder of your server.
7. Go to your server's folder where the "srcds.exe" file is and open the "rev.ini" file with notepad. Then edit the following lines so they look like this:

SteamDll=.\bin\Steam.dll
ClientDLL=.\bin\steamclient_valve.dll

8. Done.

No! That's the way for linux. For Windows RevEmu already provides the "steamclient_valve.dll", it's the bin/steam/steamclient.dll file. Keep the folder structure like it is, don't copy files from bin folder to root folder. There is nothing to adjust, just copy the files over and overwrite the present files.

But it works in the way i mentioned too. So whichever way someone choose, it will work anyway.

But it's a lot unnecessary work to just achieve the same thing.
