I'm afraid of these kind of changes. Bad experience. I will try to find another solution to bring players at the rest servers. Removing/disabling servers is the last option for me.

Remember these days when custom was full when there was strike or lost temple? Good times. Or when there were players on maps like nuke and train? - that was a few years ago, wasn't it?

 

For real man, good admins and moderators want to bring the life back to setti, but every change just makes it worse. That's just sad truth. I'm sorry. I have never missed non-steam players. I miss servers full of non-steams now.

Yeah, i agree. It's sad. I will do whatever i can. But we all must help. As a first step invite your friends and play with them at those servers. After some times they will be used to that and they will play there without you invite them. Just a thought.

What if just CS:S's best time is over? You can read endless topics e.g. @ESL about "ESL being dead", the 4Players league will also close in a few month, Joltplay (CSSMixes) also closed (but probably for other reasons). Valve is releasing horrible updates which forces no-steam players to redownload the whole game, there are always people who don't know how to update etc...

Finally, someone has realized that CS:S has died. CS:GO is the future and Setti must focus on it.

Today only i and MICRO went at the Popula Maps server. Guys when you go at the Dust2 server and you see people, invite the to play at the rest Setti servers too. All of these guys are stuck at the dust2 map and i can't understand why!

I think D2 server has turned into a prison server.

And again when I was playing D2 I was feeling sad. I just do not understand people who play dust2 only.

In my opinion nuke is the best map. It's just amazing. So many cool spots, bunny hopping possibilities, wallbangs and it really balanced. Chances to win are 50% and dust2 is ct sided. Well, it was t sided before the "ruincss" update. You know - you could bhop so fast because of the slopes on both A and B routes. Nuke is so much better with balance - cts have heaven, bh slope at spawn, cat and ts have yellow, easy heaven wallbangs and the lobby.

nuke, aztec, inferno, train good maps too. Maps that Popular Maps server has. We must find a way to bring people there.
