the v5 patch is able to update any version but i have the game reinstalled which means version 0, and i cant seem to find any last patches around, can you please post a link or a way to solve this, (mediafire link please) thank you in advance.

this is what happens when i use the v5 patch. Do i have to, like, redownload the whole css game?

What's your current CS:S version? Did you install the patch in the right path?

yes i believe i did browse the right path, the current version is 0 from scratch i have the "Counter.Strike.Source.2010.Orange.Box.NoSteam.[Setti]" zip pack (its old i know)

You have the OrangeBox release. The update patch is designed for the SteamPipe release. So you have to download the SteamPipe release and then install the update patch to it.

this is new... i kept clicking ok on all the errors and the patch worked but now i cant seem to be able

play online at all, if i create a server vs bots it works but i can't connect to any server (i tried lots of servers) (and some servers indicate they're using an older version)

yes, but isnt there a patch for the orange box? i mean, do i really have to download the steam pipe?

Yes. VALVe transformed the game files completely. The creation of the update patches for the old release would be nightmare both for us and for you people. We had to make a new release.

A patch would be the same size like a new download/release.
