Same thing here - downloaded and installed latest patch to 1.0.0.67 from the Mediafire link provided on the updated first post on this thread and I get the Steam errors that Beta steam needs to be running when tryiing to search and the steam game ui error when trying to connect to a setti server. Double checked the rev.ini file is saved in ANSI format - no difference.

After i patched to Patch v43 (1.0.0.67). When i create new server (To play vs bots) i get this message: "CD Key authentication invalid for internet servers."
How to fix it? Thanks

'listenserver.cfg' not present; not executing.

   VAC secure mode is activated.

I tried to run 'Counter Strike Source 2010.bat' but its the same as was - Steam beta must be running..
So whats now? b00bs help us.. :(

Doesn't seem to solve my problem, please some more help would be appreciated!

I just reinstalled my game. And patched with newest patch (culmulative). Same issue. Boobs we believe in you that u can make something to help us out. I will either try to make some cfg changes and we'll see.

He probably misconfigured something, forgot a line of code maybe and it is causing all the trouble -_-

ok I have a problem too, I dont have the latest patch but when I want to join and the server and its loading then before it finishes it just stops I dont know why?? can anyone help this happens all the time and after that I have to restart my pc cuz css wont shut down

Ctrl+Alt+delete ->tasks(broswes[it's the second tab] something like that,i don't know exactly because i have greek version)->hl2->close/stop task (button) ;)

You mean you can not open task manager. Any non-windows program can stop with this way.(if you be able to open task manager) :gun:

Lol. Format could help! Or check your system for virus-spyware etc.
