Q.: I get error "Engine Error" "Could not load library client"
A.: Try to delete game, then reinstall.

Q.: I get error "The Instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x The memory could not be read"

Q.: When i try to launch game, I get a message that says "hl2.exe has stopped working" & other game crashes
A.: Start the game without internet connection, click on "find servers" and then connect internet.
- Sometimes it helps if you delete the achievements! Delete those files:
"Counter Strike Source/cstrike/gamestate.txt"
"Counter Strike Source/bin/stats.bin"!
- Or your antivirus can cause game crashes, read on Steam Support:

- Make sure you installed latest patch, and installed it properly, make sure that antivirus/firewall/other programs doesn't block games/revemu connections to internet.
- Try to run the game as Administrator.

Q.: I get error: "CFileSystem_Steam::Init() failed:failed to find steam interface"
A.: Probably your antivirus deleted some game files, uninstall it and install some other antivirus like Kaspersky! Then reinstall the game.

Q.: I have graphical/visual issues
A.: Because you don't have a graphics card made for games. Sometimes the "-dxlevel 80" parameter can fix this.
You should add "-dxlevel 80" to the  CS:S shortcut(left mouse click on shortcut and then go to properties), for example:
"I:Counter Strike Sourcehl2.exe" -game cstrike -console -dxlevel 80

Q.: How to change name?
A.: Use console command "setname", for example:
setname pr0gamer

Q.: How to change the little picture shown in scoreboard next to your name?
A.: The picture is the platform/avatar.dat file. It's actually a .png file, so just rename it to avatar.png, edit it with your favorite image editor and rename it back to avatar.dat. It must be 64x64 size.

Q.: I open CS:S game it opens rotated/tilted towards the left
A.: Go to Options-> Video Tab & change the resolution!

Q.: I can't change crosshair scale
A.: Players can revert to old crosshair behavior by setting cl_legacy_crosshair_scale to 1! There is game bug, when you go to options your crosshair settings resets.

Q.: I have delay on sounds, when I shoot I hear sounds later
A.: Write in console "snd_mixahead 0.1" without quotes!

Q.: I just got disconnected, it said my ping was too high.
A.: You are kicked automaticaly because your ping is too high, join low latency servers! Quit all download programs like utorrent ect.

Q.: How to uninstall the game?
A.: Just delete it!

Q.: Server list says "no internet game respond to the query"
A.: Try to refresh. Or press on "Internet" tab, press "Quit" game, start game again & now it should work. Or try to disable your antivirus & firewall!
Make sure you installed latest patch, and installed it properly, make sure that antivirus/firewall/other programs doesn't block games/revemu connections to internet. If you still don't get serverlist then you did something wrong & or it is revemu bug, then wait for new patch.

Q.: Is it possible to add clan tag?
A.: You can have clan tag, edit rev.ini with Notepad and change "ClanTag=[Setti]" to "ClanTag=Your_tag", then go to options>multiplayer>advanced and select clan tag there.!

Q.: I get "steam beta must be running..." or "#GameUI_ServerRequireSteam" error.
A.: Probably you saved rev.ini into non-ANSI format. Open it with Notepad, press Files>save as..., select Encoding ANSI then press save. Or you copied some broken files to your game, then you need to reinstall game.
Or your antivirus is blocking/deleted some game files, try disable/uninstall it, then reinstall game.

Q.: After I change rev.ini and save, it says access denied.
A.: Extract game to folder like "D:Games". Or read there - http://answers.micro...9e-8c9906d8f242

Q.: I get error "ConVarRef sb_dontshow_maxplayer_warning doesn't point to an existing ConVar"
A.: This is not an error, just ignore it!
 
Q.: Everytime I start the game the text of the menu doesn't show up.
A.: Make sure Steam is not running. Open the  task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), click on the "Processes" tab, click the "Show processes of all users" button, try to find the process of Steam and kill it.
 
If that don't work:
 
Right click on the desktop shortcut of the game. You will see the startup command line highlighted with blue. Go to the end of the line, let a space and add this: -w 800 -h 600
Click the "Apply" and "OK" buttons and run your CSS client.

And what are these preconfigured rates and lerp?

optimal for 66tick server/fast pc/good net, there is lil explanation in autoexec.cfg file. U can adjust lerp by enabling "net_graph 1" and pressing "-"/"+" keys, but better dont touch lerp if u dont know what u r doing, u can fuckup your reg badly.

Well i downloaded it followed the instructions and then i try to run the shortcut from the desktop as administrator and the i get the error that hl2.exe can not be found in the Windows/system32 directory.I copied hl2.exe there and tried again. Then i took the following error: Failed to load the launcher DLL: The specified module could not be found.
Thats where i ran out of ideas. Any help?

thats realy weird, did u run shortcut maker(simple rar sfx script) from games folder? As alternative run "Counter Strike Source 2010.bat" in game's folder.

Yo nice b00bs I've installed game but it has a problem from time to time during playing I got stuck for 10 - 15 seconds, what's going on ?

Is there a way to reset the achievements? All of them are already done!

I think you need to have a Steam account for that. All achievements are saved on your Steam account too. When you are playing non-Steam it sounds bit difficult to track achievements. Standalone release just shows them all as done.

I have "no premissons to run "cstrike" - i open shortcut with adminsitation ;/
