plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i updated the game from here and i cant play the css cz they told me that i have an old version 

what should i do ?????????????????//????????????????????

 

Did you download and install the update patch v6? Also it's recommended to download and install the game from here so the update patches work 100%. I'm saying this just in case you have downloaded the game from somewhere else.

Uhmmm...

Can u guys help me with this problem... I tried sharing the program from my other computers but after trying it, it says "The server requires that you be running Steam." but i tried running it in administrator but still it says that it requires to run by steam... 

I tried redownloading it but again it says "The server requires that you be running Steam." i followed all in the instruction but i still always like that...

But here at the server its ok and running fine but on the other computer are not... 

Please help me guys... Thanks

Try this, maybe it will work:

1. Right click on the shortcut of the game and click on "Properties".

2. Go to the "compatibility" tab and check the checkbox that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".

3. Select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" from the list below and finally click on the buttons "Apply" and "OK".

4. Try to run the game.

Ok the torrent has been uploaded. You will find the torrent download button at the first page of this topic. The download speed will be 100 kB/s. I'm waiting for headHUNTERZ to add the torrent to Setti's seedbox so the speed is ~500 kB/s. And as the amount of the seeders will be increased, the speed will be increased too. So seed for as long as you can both release and update patch!!

 

P.S If you still seed the update patch v5, stop it since it's not needed anymore.

when i run the patch it starts extracting but then i get the error "Extract: error writing to file hl2_misc_003.pat" i tried to install it in two folders but in both i get the same error i also tried to run it as administrator and in compability mode ????

 

You have to install the update patch in the "..\Counter-Strike Source" folder. And btw, the update patch detects the folder that you have installed the game automatically. Try again.

Good that it's working fine! Yep, that was one of Valve's fixes for this patch.

That's a problem with the emulator. It's most likely that you're running Windows XP, your Windows is outdated, you're missing some libraries or you're not starting the game as administrator. But I haven't tested this, it always worked for me on every computer..

That's a really weird error. It happens when it tries to extract the patch files from the patch to your HDD. The only explanation for me is that your download failed. Try to redownload the patch!

When you join a server, do you have anything else running that uses internet? E.g. the torrent client, or anything else?
