today i came out and found out my master list wouldnt show servers it comes up steam must be on online mode and stuff like that the only way i can connect to servers is getting the ips of the server list on the webstie and its getting boring go back and forward does anyone know how to fix this so i can just choose servers from the list in game please?
i think i am an idiot because i opened steam up at the wrong time so i think thats what did it anyway thanks for reading and please reply

WRONG BOARD - WATCH WHERE YOU POST! Moved -> Servers & Masterserver.
Close Steam and all games. Find all masterservers.vdf in your Steam or game directories. Delete them. Install masterserver again. Remember to make masterservers.vdf read-only. Making the file read-only prevents Steam or your game from overwriting it with the default values - otherwise it's not required.
Sometimes Steam and/or the games create duplicates of masterservers.vdf and overwrite them with the default values. That is why you need to delete all other instances of it.
