Hey everyone. 

I just noticed that HLStatsX, SourceBans, CS:S, CS:GO and TS3 servers are all down. Probably it's caused by some HDD failure. We will try to fix this as soon as possible.

Hey Heady!! What's up? 

I'm glad you are still here. What do you think? Will Setti get over this? Personally i do. Setti had the 1st shut down long ago but it didn't die. Then i remember that Setti was under DDoS too. It didn't die even then. So, yeah. I believe Setti will get over this too.

 

Btw let's give a warm welcome to nina who joined our forum yesterday! She is one of the few non-bot regulars of the CS:GO main server. And a cool personality too. Not the best thing for a new forum member to read about issues etc but what can we do? Shit happens! Salut nina and welcome to Setti's forum.

 

P.S. A few days ago the main CS:GO server was 32/32! Damn, i wasn't fast enough to take screenshot. The map changed...

Hard to say. If it's the disk, then the stats, bans & admin infos are gone, let alone the minecraft worlds. Server configs are also gone. Waiting for the server owners could also take at least a few weeks. If you then rebuild all those services, you'll end up with 0/32 servers again. Gonna be a tough journey.

Compared to what i have seen in the MC server made by players, rebuilding the CS:S and CS:GO servers is nothing. I believe i can finish within a few days by using the clone feature of OGP. I will need a little help first from you Heady on installing the OGP, SourceBans and HLStatsX services.

 

But hey! What if this is a sign? What if we have to finish the new forum now, so we move there and then install the services i mentioned above, on the server where the new forum is hosted? So the only things that will be installed on the pong server are the game servers?

Everything is up and running without data loss. YEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ghost was online on Steam this morning, we talked and he rebooted the hardware.

 

Casty, Ghost told me that there is a backup server that syncs everything from the pong server every day. Something like that. I don't know more details though. :s

 

Heady do you have time these days to help on finishing with the new forum? You know more about forum's deep stuff. :s

No. Ghost will move the database from the current forum to the new one. Which means sections, forums, topics, posts and user accounts will be transferred from the current forum to the new one.
