When i am installing counterstrike 1.6 it says CRC doesnt match with somthing in the file, and it does it 3 more times if i ignore it all, the game will run after installation but i cannot look up any servers the button is broken... I got my download from Fagbase.ca .

help PLox

it is saying the chateu,wad does not match the setups.cab file ? and it does this for three differemt files ... so should i just rename them as .cab?

Download different release. CRC is a error checking mode in a compressed package. Most likely the package itself is broken. It's also possible that something went wrong when you downloaded it but it's very unlikely.

Download a different release. There are several at http://thepiratebay.org.
