I've downloaded a non-steam version of GMOD 11, but once I add the masterservers, it still doesn't bring up any servers. How do I use it with setti? I had Undead Patch on steam and it worked with gmod then, but I don't want steam anymore. I follow all the instructions right. Somebody once mentioned doing something with the rev.ini file, and I did it, but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

There are not many GMod servers and that might be the reason that you don't see anything. There's nothing to show. Check this list: http://css.setti.info/servers/other/ and search for "gmod". In any case there are less than 10 patched GMod servers.

Instructions for masterserver use is the same as with other games. Follow instructions and that should do it.
In problem cases this procedure usually helps:
1. Close Steam, close all games
2. Find *all* masterservers.vdf files. Replace them all with Setti's masterservers.vdf
3. Use windows' search to make sure you replaced all masterservers.vdf
4. Start Steam and/or games

You posted to almost one year old thread - no wonder those servers don't work anymore. This is also again a reminder for people not to copy&paste static server lists anywhere. Server lists need to be automatically updated and maintenanced as Setti does: http://css.setti.info/servers/
What I said one year ago however is still true.
