@b00bs, the excuse "you don't know how to report" doesn't stand now. I was also on the server, i think it was piranesi, and i reported to perplexer thru admin chat 3 times. In this case, he just didn't wanted to ban the cheater. That's all.

Okay so today I was playing on Setti main server, and Perplexer was there playing and then cheater with aimbot joined his team and 5 of us were telling him to ban that cheater, but he was just ignoring everyone and acting cool, he didn't even bother to spectate him or anything and in the end he left while cheater was still on the server.

This is not the first time Perplexer is not doing his job, he does this all the frikin time!!!
Can you please give us back voteban option because obviously admins dont give a f*** about cheaters on server? Thanks.

Maybe he didn't have time to spectate if he was playing and alive all the time. Post a link to a video (Youtube is better).

In some cases there's no need to spectate, k1ller. If a regular, with 4 or 5 years on this server like me, reports a cheater, an obvious one, there's no need to spectate, you just ban the guy. If it's a mistake, he can post on forum. Better to ban an innocent than to screw 23 players game.

Personally I trust reports from some players and ignore some. Also some cheater reports are like "I think X is cheating". When I ask "Are you 100% sure" they answer like "no... but maybe".

Some players also report cheaters when they are dead (while admin is still alive).

One popular bad method to report cheater is to just say "cheater, cheater, plz ban" without saying the name of the cheater.

Which one were you using? How about the other players?

Admins are on the server playing, not chatting with stupid players. It's unbelievable how stupid players can get. Note: the word "stupid" does not fully describe the type of person that I'm trying to describe - it's more like a mix between ignorance, stupidity and naivety. Reporting a cheater is just one example. Another example is when players ask for unban without saying when or what their IP or SteamID was when they got banned. These things should be intuitively clear for any sane person. There are more similar "habits" that define a stupid person. It might not be coincidence that these are also the players who get banned or have problems with "bad admins".

Absence of some regular players on these forums is also a good sign. Then it's clear that those players just want to play and not socialize on the forums bashing other players or whining about admin actions. Seeing them on the server is nice.

This thread itself is again a repetition of something that is constantly going on.

It's not even clear what you want when you come posting here about Perplexer banning or not banning a player. Remove his admin privileges? How likely do you think that is? He's been an admin since the beginning. That's because he's a good admin.
