You've been talking about rules here, but you've forgot one essential rule: Don't talk about your limited admin access.

This kind of situations should have been PM'd to admins directly. Nobody should in-game see limited admins as admins. None of the limited access admins are admins. They're trustworthy enough to have power to make the game playable when normal admins aren't around.

I haven't kept log, but I think all limited access admins have broken this rule

In practice, and even with the best intentions in the world, this is close to impossible given the fact that regulars find out quickly and spread the word. Even the non-regulars get a clue, especially on a day like 48 hours ago when all the cheaters on the planet simultaneously decided to hold a fragfest on setti.

I would have a few things to say / clarifications to ask about these rules: nothing fundamental, but still it may be better to limit the discussion to admins. Is there any place for that on the forum?

Did it give him time to think about what he did?

And what did my ban achieve? I wrote roughly five 4-5 word sentences addressed to Perplexer out of which first three were questions about Toble's ban.

Yes there are rules, and there are exceptions because the setting changes and the rule becomes obsolete. So if the main admin doesn't show much interest in banning a cheater and rather play, i don't see the reason why a side admin can't ban a cheater.

Instead what happens on the server is that a cheater is on Perplexer's side, Perplexer doesn't give a shit and the cheater roams the server freely as long as Perplexer can play.

I'm starting to believe that he is/was using cheaters to win a round and enjoy watching other regulars get slaughtered as if he was doing the slaying himself.

I don't know whether it achieved anything or not. I usually tell people not to do something (if they are doing something wrong). If they still do it I might ban them. Banning or kicking as a "teaching method" is not a good solution in my opinion. It's better to say "don't do that" and look what they do. If they stop doing what they were doing everyone is happy. If not then they get banned and they get mad. If the wrong-doers are banned straightaway they just directly get mad without chance to stop their doing and being happy.

I cant even imagine that scenario. Banning perp? No way. He was the regular golden boy who just didnt pay for the server but was such a great help with his uber hax detection skills which obviously I dont have. Check it from the logs.

The strongest survive. You still have your limited admin rights which means you did better than some others .

If there is no reason to ban one then one isn't banned.

Rules are meant to be broken. Especially if they're idiotic ones, like this one. Why ban an admin that bans a cheater if you're too incompetent or lazy or just didn't wanted to ban the cheater. That was cheating. Him, the cheater. Or didn't saw what was going on.
