this is bloody ridiculous. i already got banned from server 1 for messing around and i understood that but just today i got banned from server 2 for no good reason. The admin present i think was Angst <3. im not sure but i think be banned me.. Setti servers are amazing and theyre pretty much the only servers i play on due to the low ping and all. i also know that there are alot of hacker every where on css but i dont hack and i still got banned...

this is my post i decided to make an account so i can keep my self posted on this. gamer tag in css was earlier thc[FIN] and i changed it to Carl recently.

If you were cheating then you should find another server.
Post your SteamID and IP address so it can be unbanned. For Setti #1 server noobs are not welcome. If you feel you know the game better than an average noob then Setti #1 is for you. Otherwise #2 - #4 + RUS servers will be good training ground. This is not a joke - skill difference between any regular player and a noob is very clear at Setti #1. It is very annoying for regular players to see noobs running around. That is why getting banned from Setti #1 can happen quite easily. Getting banned from #2 - #4 should only happen if you are cheating.
So the question is now: why did you mess around? The chance that you will be messing around in the future is quite likely too. Why should you be unbanned?

Im using the setti no steam css so im not sure if i have a steamID but my current name in css is Carl and im not sure how to get my ip. i was playing in Server 1 back when i was still a major noob and my k/d was negative/below 0 etc 10/20 and that could explain why i got banned. since my skill level has slightly improved i wouldnt mind playing with regulars at server 1.
... besides i dont know if i should be posting my ip address online?

"Carl" is your name, it's not the same as SteamID.
Hmm... you can check your SteamID by joining another server and writing "status" in the console. Maybe you don't even have to be connected to server.
I'm sure there are other ways to check the SteamID too but I don't know them. Maybe Google helps unless you can connect to another server to check your SteamID.

Hey I have the same problem, I downloaded the game and did the Patch, I changed my name through rev.ini to HD.TheCursed.
Although, when I try to join a server it says "You have been banned from this server".
It happens when I try to join every server!!
