Cant add server to setti master list :(

hi, i installed counter strike source orange box, and i installed the latest patch (.0 to .24 \ 1.0.0.56) and copied the folder to desktop.. then i launch my server with mani admin plugin and quake sounds(using metamod of course) all went perfectly i launch the game from the other installation and i can get in :)

now when i try to add my server to setti list i cant it says this :

[Mon Dec 6 10:46:22 2010]: Verifying 89.153.77.244:27015 (89.153.77.244:27015)
[Mon Dec 6 10:46:25 2010]: No INFO from 89.153.77.244:27015
[Mon Dec 6 10:46:25 2010]: Could not request server information.


and i added all the ports needed to my router firewall and windows firewall and i cant add the server... what am i doing wrong? please help me ASAP. thx, Shadow_PT ;)

do you launch listen server? dedicated? try to open your ports

are u blind? cant u read? xD anyway.. i now tried with srcds and dont works either, i put all the ports opened... please help!

i cant explain??? ok if you know how to read up there i said that i copied the installed the game and make a server out of it... so its not dedicated ok? oh and by the way you are the kid that doesnt know how to read.. so if you still cant understand.. GTFO you ok? and people that understand please help me thx.

omg.. i explain better only for you ok? well, i downloaded the game, ok?? then i installed the game, then i installed the latest patch, after that, i COPIED the game folder to the desktop *with the latest patch installed* then i launched the server through the desktop, and joined through the other folder and it went well, until i wanted to add the server to setti... i cant, and it gives me the error i listed up there.. what do i do? hope you understand please help +.+

If you want to host a server watch this



Use hldsupdatetool and forward your ports.

My english sucks too. Try to make short sentences.

I can't see this server too, so it is prolly your ports still closed, add to srcds_console.bat -ip "your external_ip" parameter, use some friend's help from internet, see if he can connect when you change something in server's config.

hey waats, ok im downloading it now.. can you patch my server using teamviewer? cause its too difficult. please.

Today, you'll become a MAN. Stop crying, download the necessary files with HLDSupdatetool, download esteamation and follow the guide.

ok, FIRST stop pretending YOU are a man.
SECOND i tried before using ESTEAMATION and i couldnt get right...
THIRD you can be a MAN helping guys that are NOOBS using all these patches.
BUT if you dont want to help, thats ok, maybe one day you really need help with something you love and want and no ones gonna help you, and there my friend i wish you all the lucky in the world trying to make it.thx
