I personally never liked the idea of spending money on those grotesque heatsinks and numerous fans.
once you realize how easy is i7 to reach 4.0 GHz (or ibn general, to overclock the shit out of it) with a good cpu cooler, you may start thinking of spending some money there. higher the cpu clocks, higher the FPS. Low CPU temperature = best performance, and more durability.
For the dude with the new pc: why didnt you go for a x58 chipset? i7= 8 threads! 1000 evro is alot of money for that system, most of them is spent on the gtx570 and the solid state disk.
If i were you i would have gone for better cpu and mobo (only 4 ram sticks
) , instead of this SSD. its very expensive now, the prices will go down, its just a matter of time. And ffs you re not rich if you have a 1000 value pc. Most merchants can be paid at doses. we are all poors but we are all on drugs! lets cut off drugs and see our wallet getting big :
