UFO X-com is one of the best games. There's also UFO: Aftermath that has been released few years ago: http://games.softpedia.com/screenshots/ ... iner_1.jpg. It's basically the same game expcept with better GFX and so on - although the original is still the best.

There's one Czech or some game developing company that does good games. I think it's done UFO but I can't remember the name right now. It's done another similar turn based game in which USA, Russia and neutral army fight against each others and sometimes it's possible to do timewarps from future to present time etc. That's a really good game too.

Heh i didn't post this tread so that u guys could tell me which game is better...

I find SC's gameplay a little odd and i didn't play enough to get used to it, not to mention that my pc is very slow.

There is also good remake of UFO Enemy Unknown, called UFO Extraterrestrials

I like most of the C&C series. Except redalert3 and generals. Though them new C&C tell you to much what to do. Camera jumping around telling me where to go. Annoying.

@ Tupac if you have nothing to say, please don't comment.

I have yet to try a RTS game, but since RTS games are not my style I may never play any of them... but if I decide to start playing one, my first RTS game must be one of the best of their kind so I can return again to this style.

Must be a combination between good gameplay and good graphics... good graphics is needed these days... sad but true.

Damn I would love to play X-Com interceptor. But there is a bug on XP and later versions. With alien bases. You can't see them on missions. Same with probes. There is no fix. No win98 video drivers for my graphics. So can't install them. Tried using Microsoft Virtual PC and VMware but its unplayable. Mouse and graphics issues. One thing left. Need old PC:)

Ghost, did you like Millennium 2.2 ? This was my favorite game on the Amiga. If you liked it then you should not miss Deuteros. I don't know if they ported it to PC yet but you can still play it on an emulator. I replayed it a few months back. Awesome game!
