On my CS:S Shortcut there is now: -heapsize 524288 -nojoy -dxlevel 81 -refresh 75 -w 800 -h 600
I start my CS:S as admin, and i have vista..
I heard about IE which could also speed down CS:S, so i set upped the security levels to low..
In my console there is rate 25000 cl_update/cmdrate to 100
None of these helped really.. maybe it has made my ping 5ms smaller but its not really important. The laggst still be there..
Here is the config, I have the default one http://css.setti.inf...tyle_emoticons/default/icon_e_confused.gif

Wherever you heard it it was wrong. But originally it might have had some truth in it.I heard about IE which could also speed down CS:S, so i set upped the security levels to low..
Some firewall / antivirus programs are stupid enough to check each incoming UDP packet that comes in to a computer. When you play CS:S or any online game there will be 33 - 100 packets coming in every second. If the firewall / antivirus program is stupid it will scan each UDP packet for viruses. That might cause latency in your connection.
I didn't believe this theory myself before I saw it happen maybe 5 years ago. Even back then (in 2005) there had been lots of antivirus programs and these issues were common. Still antivirus / firewall program developers were stupid enough to make programs that do that kind of stupid stuff from one version to another. So turn off your antivirus and firewall programs and try again.
I'm 99.99% certain that the problem is not in your CS:S configs or in CS:S in general. The problem might be in your ISP (internet service provider) which routes data from your country to Setti through non-optimal routers. That has happened before and no-one can actually fix it, it's the internet messing with your connection. This has happened few times for players from Israel and Romania.
This is possible. Some virus might periodically send spam or do other network stuff from your computer which consumes all your bandwidth and causes lag. Then it stops for a while and starts again.2. maybe you have viruses in PC...also can cause lags
Not true. What would be the config option that causes such lag? There is none. Don't post mis-information on the internet.post your config file here, i have heard that sometimes too "smart" config in CSS causes lags.
Edit: You would be able to track your internet connection with WinMTR but unfortunately the threads about WinMTR were lost in the site update. Ask TupaC for details.

1. My PC requirements are fully OK
2. My Internet Connection IS OK
3. I had Antivirus & Firewall OFF and after that CS:S still produce lag
4. I have added a lot of words to my CS:S Shortcut (including heapsize, dxlevel)
5. I have checked my PC with an AntiVirus of 2007.. My PC seems like to be clean
6. My IN-Game stats are -rate 25000- -cl_cmdrate 100- -cl_updaterate 100-
7. My IN-Game graphics settings are all to LOW and WinX is 800 WinY is 600
8. I tried to join a lot of Servers.. The lag won't stop.
My Situation listed again:
Every Time I join a CS:Server i got a ping like 41-100ms. After playin 5-10 mins its gonna lagging (!Heavy, up to 400ms). So i can't even moving or something. I wait 10-30 secs, it plays OK again. After 5-10 mins it begins lagging again. Like a loop or something.. So, none of these tips worked. Thanks for everybody, but its not enough, Sorry.
Please Help

Wikipedia tells you more:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_pe ... throughput
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... net_gaming
You can use WinMTR to test your connection latencies. Unfortunately the threads about WinMTR were lost in the site update. Ask TupaC for details. It's possible that occasionally the data packets that leave your computer travel "longer distance" in the internet before reaching Setti. The "longer distance" is usually caused by a router (usually home router or some router between your home computer and Setti) which handles packets slowly or routes packets to wrong direction which causes lag. WinMTR reveals you the routes that packets travel in the internet and you can identify whether it's your home router or some router somewhere on the internet that causes the latency to grow.

[color=red]EDIT: This time I have shut downed ONLY Firewall, then it was lagfree, huh?! First time as i quitted antivirus and firewall nothing happened. Now someways everything works fine :/ I've picked now my firewall on, took the css out from scanning and everything is oK. Just a question, it's not lagging heavy anymore, but there is sometimes a tiny lag like slowly moving or something? Do you know why it happens?

Take a look at your firewall, anti-virus and router settings and see if there are "optimizations" enabled. Disable them all and then it should be ok.
