Hello everyone!

You all probably noticed that forum was down for some period. The game servers as well. That was caused by a server (host) failure. We had a database backup though so everything is ok after all. Forum is back online!

Also! There was an update for CS:S. I worked on it and i uploaded the new v13 update patch. You will find it here: http://css.setti.inf...teampipe-setti/

Now i will work on the CS:S and CS:GO servers. They need update. After that, you guys will be able to join and play. I will let you know in this thread when they are ready.

First off, let me start by apologizing for my very long absence (not that it was noticed significantly), but due to my current situation, I cannot be as active for the time being.

Moving on then,

I can't believe the degree of bullshit I am reading lately on this forum.

Why the arguing?

Why the constant fighting?

Guys (and girls), I read somewhere recently somebody mention how Setti was great in 2011, I believe it was Ellanios, correct me if I'm wrong.

And that's completely true, it was great.

But it's not 2011. And many of us have come to realize that over time.

We've been struggling for the past few years trying to clean up all the broken pieces of Setti and rebuild it from the ground up.

This forum and the people in it, are one of my favorite places on the internet. Here I have met people who are from all around the world, who are diverse in every way imaginable. Saying this, we all have different opinions and stances on what we think is right and what we think is wrong.

And this community was found upon that, it was founded as a place to contain diverse people, with different backgrounds.

I know this sounds corny, but this community is like a family. We're Setti, people.

We have been through so much shit on this website, and worked together to achieve the same goal - a reborn Setti.

Accepting our current situation, we started work to rebuild, to bring a new, golden age, to this name that has gone down in server history. But somewhere along the line, the path got crooked, and we lost our way.

I've said this many times, and I'll say it again.

What makes Setti great is not just its servers, but primarily its people.

Seeing all this fighting just makes no sense to me. I've met a lot of creative people here, who have ideas that would benefit Setti and I've always encouraged others to act on those ideas.

To think that a shitty dispute over admin rights could rip the few of us left is ridiculous.

The servers will come and go, but the people you shared your moments with on those servers stay.

So I plead to you all, admins and users, to those who are still out there, hoping for a better future,

cut the bullshit, and let's continue rebuilding Setti, together. We cannot accomplish all that we need to do without working together. 

I know that there are still major disagreements, but if you're willing to sort everything out, reply to this topic and I will make sure that an agreement will be made.

Ellanios and Snipy, I'm waiting for your reply.

I've made a promise to somebody from this community, and I intend to keep it. I owe it to him, and we owe it to them, to all the people that have contributed, whose names will never be forgotten.

I can't believe what I'm reading.

I've read a lot of good points in this discussion, but first and foremost, let's all calm down.

I still haven't read the last 1/3 of the topic as I haven't had the time, but I will get back to that in a few hours or so (and post my full reply).

But from what I can gather, I just want to ask a few simple questions.

Who are our CS admins?

Can somebody provide a list of them? 

When I say CS admins, I mean the active CS admins who have any rights now.

I'll be posting my reply here later, after I very carefully read and re-read every post here. In the meantime, it would be awesome if somebody could answer the questions above.

I actually suggested this over a year ago in Settis Ad Plan (Silent, and all other admins check your inbox, you'll find it there)

Anyways, you did present some good points, and they do sound good on paper.

The question we need to ask now is, what page did we like and came back to open it up again? 

For example, if I like Taylor Swifts Facebook page, and if she doesn't post much, I wouldn't notice that I even liked her page. But I guess this goes hand in hand with one of your negatives (Effort). 

I think, most of Settis player base in the past was from word of mouth. For example, somebody plays on the CSS server, likes it, tells his friend, and then that friend tells his other friends about it, and so on and so forth.

Facebook wasn't really in the picture, because if someone really wanted to play on our servers, they'd look us up on Google.

To my point, then:

I don't think it's a bad idea, and don't see how it can affect Setti negatively. You can't really put down an idea without at least giving it a shot.

But I think there are more serious issues we need to worry about now, mainly our outdated website. (Still says 2013 (Whose idea was this?)).

When we fix the big issues, we can start moving on to the little things like promoting on Facebook.

My Ad plan is still usable, but it's put on hold.

Bigger things need to be fixed.

I'm sure Silent, me and the other admins would like to hear suggestions on what can be improved.

The advertisements plugin is showing chat messages from times to times including something like this: "Visit our forum: css.setti.info/forum"

If they are too lazy or too stupid to come here and report the cheater, then they should go fuck themselves. Adding a message like "Use team chat and start your message with '@' to report a cheater to the online admins." would be fine though. But showing to everyone who is admin is a really bad idea. The result of that would be this:
