In CS 1.6, the server master file "MasterServers.vdf" should be installed into <cs_1.6_install_path>\platform\config, for non-steam clients. Yet, I have found a Red&Black 2014 (powered by tinzo) release in which "MasterServers.vdf" is installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike 1.6 Red&Black\config", instead of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike 1.6 Red&Black\platform\config".

 

In this case, is the server browser still using the setti master file "MasterServers.vdf"?

 

And, in the non-steam 1.6 client, which application is using the file "MasterServers.vdf"?

 

Really have no idea on this...

Previously I have successfully added a picture file to use in my avatar. But several days ago, it doesn't work any more. When I tried again to add an avatar pic, it always fails, citing "Failed to set a new photo. Any reason for this?
