For some reason the forum doesn't send me email updates when someone replies to a pm conversation, even though I request them.

What's up with the CSGO servers?

We're currently working on getting a fix out for the Minecraft server, as well as completely rebuilding it with (hopefully) stable plugins. (Xarc is working with Catsy and me on this).

It's not just the Minecraft community that we need to revive, but rather the entire Setti community, which covers a wide range of servers and games.

For now, the work on the new forum has stopped until some free time is found (school/work), and the support of Ghost and k1ller activated again. 

Major work should begin in about a month or so, when semesters end and people catch a break from work.

Regarding the MC Server, Catsy and I have tossed around ideas of custom servers (like the Hunger Games, Tekkit, etc, etc.), and so far it seems we might have two servers operating in the near future, one for something close to vanilla, and another one that is custom (still undecided). 

If we do decide to take this route, we would include the "old" world, along with a completely new map on the "something close to vanilla" server. Again, still undecided.

Setti should be coming out with some new and major stuff in the coming months, which will of course be posted on the forum.
Until then, we hope you play on the servers that are available at the moment.

The old worlds aren't going anywhere, they are too valuable to lose. 

Starting in June, when I return to my active state, I'll start pumping out the YT videos on Setti's Channel. Around the same time, we should look into speeding up the new forum process significantly. With or without the help of Ghost and k1ller. 

I like the idea Snipy, we already talked about a Setti Montage a few years ago, if I recall right, it included all services that Setti offers.

So I definitely love that idea, a video that features all the servers and services.

We still have the Setti Ad plan, so we can refer to that if need be.

Catsy, when I am fully active again, we need to discuss every single detail about the new Minecraft server (Or servers?), but also include the suggestions of some players who are active from time to time, like StarGunner.

Till then, we should monitor the water, see where the wind blows and adjust our sails accordingly.

I understand exactly what you mean, I too love vanilla/couple of plugins and small worlds...

But players don't want that.

The worlds themselves have sentimental value, but if there is nobody playing on them...

We never tried running a Tekkit server, or I don't know a Hunger Games server or whatever.

We should definitely brainstorm new ideas, but also rely heavily on the current trends..

Well the main focus right now is to actually get the thing running.

Catsy, we'll need to revisit and reconsider every plugin (I'll have to notify Silent and Heady that you'll be working with us on GitLab for the wiki)

The history of the Setti server has proven that having a couple different worlds can get messy, as some players just don't want to go to another world to farm, or even worse they go there and stay there. 

We'll need to reconsider everything from the ground up, starting with the plugins and wiki (Gitlab), then later moving on to world management, player experience, server efficiency and advertisement.

We're still also lacking one major component of the server - Players.

What's more, we're lacking people who can speak at least some English. I hate it when some person from Russia or Ukraine joins the server, and because they can't speak or don't want to speak English they leave. Frankly, if we're gonna be building a player base, I'd prefer it to be a good one from the start.

Lots to be done, not just on the MC server, but on Setti overall, as usual.

The past efforts were not in vain, we did achieve some progress...but not enough, not nearly as fast and without the cooperation of k1ller and Ghost we had hoped for.

We tried. We failed...Doesn't matter. Try again...Fail again. Fail better.
