Hi again! After trying to patch my server to no-steam, its finally success, but this isn't my question right now xD, my question is, why after installing the v5 update patch I cant change my name? I tried to change "PlayerName=css.setti.info" to a nickname.. but nothing works, its only changing name to "Player". I tried to change the name on console with "name <any nickname>" but my nick is still "Player". Any help pls? thx

 

Did you watch the video tutorial at the first page of this topic? I explain there what you have to do in order to change name in-game. Anyway. Run the game, open console and type: "setname YOUR NAME". Done.

I think you haven't patched your dedicated server.

Hi moderators. I have a small problem: I have 2 PC, on my default PC I have bought Counter-Strike: Source & a dedicated-server. On my 2nd PC, as I cant join on 2 Steam accounts at the same time, I tried to download the game from this topic. All working, its SteamPipe, but when Im trying to join with my bro on my server, this game says that isnt updates "The server you're joining is using a new game's update." (this isnt the message, its because I have the game on Spanish language & Idk how its on English, but I think you can understand me). I checked the server's version, its July 18 update. Any update for the game since that date? Thx.

yes, now I installed it & all versions are compatible, but right now I still cant join "STEAM Validation rejected." any help pls? many thx
