This is a live view updating once a day. The graphs are generated from the data gathered from Setti masterserver.
Masterserver queries in a day. The masterserver's main users are Left 4 Dead players. The masterserver is sending about 5-10 times more often L4D server list than any other game list. This happens because of how L4D game itself requests for new server list. The new masterserver is quite little compared to its predecessor. Users must update though, so one day the new masterserver will grow bigger.
About old masterserver (old text): The number of queries to the masterserver is very high. At peak time - which lasts for hours per day - the masterserver sends full server list of specific game type once every second. Roughly it translates to that there's one new player every second starting a new game and refreshing the server list. The high number of queries is handled efficiently by the masterserver, which guarantees that all players get the server list fast and reliably.
Reliability is something that Setti masterserver does really well. In the year 2008 the masterserver was online 99.998% of the time. Beat that!

Masterserver users in a year. The big fall in the graph is because the masterserver moved on a new server. After the upgrade the number of users has been growing steadily. It is great to see 10 000 users already in such a short time.
About old masterserver (old text): The growth has been steady. There are over 80 000 users daily on the masterserver. The masterserver feeds many different kind of games. The majority of users come from Counter-Strike 1.6 world - almost half of them. The rest of the users are divided among Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead and some rare game types.

The spikes in the graph are from processing errors. With more curve smoothing the line would be almost linear, which means the number of new users per day is the same. The community is growing steadily.
