How about limiting spectating only teammates? Limits chance to ghost while playing

I absolutely agree with this. I and heady had a conversation about this a few days ago. It will be applied.

It is very useful against ghosting. The only disadvantage would be that if someone wants to spec someone else of the opponent team, he must join spectators now. But i don't think that it should be any big deal.

 

Anyway. Join the servers, test it and i'm waiting your feedback.

I voted N... oh wait, script has already been installed no matter what we vote. So, what's the point of this poll?

 

This is a public no-steam server, do you think installing a couple of scripts (e.g., restricting weapons, anti-ghosting etc) will improve gameplay and prevent someone to cheat? I think not.

 

The easiest thing on Setti is to cheat. So why bother installing that annoying anti-ghosting script?

 

The problem is not on technical issues, the problem is on human resources.

 

Good players/admins make good servers not fancy scripts.

No we didn't install any script. We just configured a config file of the servers. And if the most of the players don't like it and want to spectate everyone again, we will simply return it as it was. Not big deal.

What is the idea on point system when everyone can easily boost points to them selfs? so remove spectator limit, remove point system?

Average voted for no. So change it back to spectate everyone. Furthermore Its better for admins to spectate everyone without joining spectators. Don't you think?

About the admins, i agree that they must be able to spectate everyone. So we can install a plugin which will allow them to do that.

The spectating mode is now as it was. There were many players compaining in game.

yeah that will be nice, otherwise it isnt very usefull for admins.

if you join spec the cheater will be warned, he can think that guy who joins to the spectators will spectate him and then 

he will be carefull.

 

but at all i think it isnt a big problem if all can spectate everyone.

At all the regulars and setti players is taken to specatate everyone and it is 

really annoying if you cant do that.
