Hi, sorry to bother you, i saw many posts on this with help but none of it made sence to me. I downloaded the latest masterserver.vdf and was able to find servers on an older version of l4d using a guide i found on another site but later found that my version was to outdated. I updated and now im back at square one. I cant find servers in the serverbrowser, i placed the masterserver.vdf file in Left4Dead\bin\config Left4dead\config and Left4dead\platform\config and none of them did anything. I tried the setti games steam group thing but that didnt even give me a link to go to. can anyone tell me how i can find servers? i know its not my firewall because that is disabled on my pc and router

Check L4D list here: http://css.setti.info/servers/l4d/
Then try to connect to servers by writing "connect <server-ip-here>" in console. Make sure you connect to the servers that are the same version as your game (1.0.2.3). If that works you can try to get the masterserver working too.
