as the title says how do i update my CSS its a non steam version... and i have tryed adding it to the steam library and started it from there but still nothing

You have to find separate patches for it. It's difficult.

He probably didn't find anything useful. There is the v34 CS:S server thread at http://css.setti.inf...1375-srcds-v34/

There is no update for that version, there is no point to make it because update would be big as whole game.
