Hello.
I noticed that it's impossible to add some cracked TF2 servers.
They are all up2date v1.0.9.4
Yesterday I added more than 10 servers but they are still not listed.
There are only outdated servers in the current list.
Please fix this because everybody is getting a "steam key length" error when you're trying to connect to an outdated server.
Thank you for replying me when the problem is solved.
Have a nice day!

Thanks.
Can you post network dump when you join to 1.0.9.4 server. For example join to tf2.kso.lv.
You can capture network data with Wireshark [ http://www.wireshark.org/download.html ].
Anybody else can capture the data too. Requirement is that you do it with "blank" Steam account or standalone version.

Great, we're back in business http://css.setti.info/servers/tf2/
Big thanks to Waats / jakkk for the network capture.
Here's for those who are interested in the latest updates in the protocol world
Then Setti fills rest of the 806 bytes long user authentication packet with ascii table, just the same way it was already made several years ago (the length quite probably may be different if you know what stuff to put there).
The update also means that now only 1.0.9.4+ servers are supported.

You have got exactly the same problem for day of defeat source!
Only outdated servers are listed.
The problem is that there is more outdated servers than up2date.
Is it possible to add the game version and list the new ones?
Do you need a new wireshark capture?

Thanks. It looks the same.
Now there's updated server list http://css.setti.info/servers/dods/
Only the updated servers are supported just like with TF2.
This time the system is also more flexible considering the future. Unless there comes some new fields in the protocol, the system will work with the future updates.
