Ok, so i made this topic to help some people who are tired of shooting directly to an enemy but hit shit. The non steam version has a terrible registry and i am sure you have experienced situations like "OMG WTF I SHOT HIM IN THE FACE"...
basically now when you play cs:s, it may be a bit jittery and player movement won't look as refined, but this is because you're shooting directly at the hitboxes, wherever you see the player model, the hitbox is as well, that way if you shoot someone in the face, they're going down......period, no more OMGWTF i shot him in the face but he took no damage, now your hitboxes will be aligned perfectly and you'll be able to aim right at the person, no leading, no nothing
the cfg file is the same file which an old legend named Ex6tenz was using
Instructions:
1.Download the file from here:
https://rapidshare.c...185/ex6tenz.cfg (fixed)
2.Save the file to: Counter.Strike.Source.2010.Orange.Box.NoSteam.[Setti]/Counter Strike Source 2010/cstrike/cfg/
3. Open with notepad "autoexec.cfg" (same folder)
4.Attach the following string at the bottom:"exec ex6tenz.cfg" (without the" ")
5.Save file and play

This is just some extra help to your gameplay. Of course it is recommended to have a good internet connection; a good pc also helps.
I recommend playing with 3.00 mouse sensivity +raw input, no mouse acceleration,no mouse filter.
You may need some time to get used to this new gameplay style, but once you get used to it there will be no chance you want to rollback to old gameplay.Thats all gg everyone

6.If you cant fast switch weapons go ingame to options>keyboard>advanced and tick both options.apply and ok
I found a "permanent" solution about that. Open ex6tenz.cfg and try yo find this string "hud_fastswitch" using the search function (Ctrl+f) and change the value from 0 to 1. Save changes and you're done.

I did some fps tweaks of mine, on 1024x768 resolution my fps jumped from 83 fps to 137. If anyone wanna try it, here is the link to my autoexec. Just remember, don't overwrite yours just because this settings worked for me, backup yours before u try this one, there is no guaranty that it will work on every PC configurations. And by the way, tnx triptonite, your mouse settings improved my gaming a lot! Yesterday i was about to open this kind of topic, we were talking about it, but you were faster m8!
Triptonite already gave you instructions where to put "autoexec" file. Anyways, here's the link: http://www.mediafire...3edjz8crgrijtd6 . I made a tutorial video for guys that cant folow instructions .

New link with fixed fastswitch and developer console: https://rapidshare.c...185/ex6tenz.cfg
if you have already installed my cfg simply replace it and you will be fine,or as ellanios said above set "hud_fastswitch" and"con_enable" to 1
