That's the Counter Strike complete package it contains all the versions of the CS series from the oldest until the latest one (Global Offensive).
But, you can buy just the GO for 9,89€. You don't have to get the whole package.
About the Beta version, once you order the game you'll get to download it on August 14th. For free, no extra charge.

Hello guys. I am thinking of pre-purchasing CSGO too but i have doubts about its performance on my pc . Could i run it in Pentium D @ 3.4 Ghz , GeForce 9800 GT 1 GB , 3 GB RAM , Win 7 32-bit ?

I heard it's based on the same engine as CS:S. Well your GPU should be more than enough and your RAM too, your CPU should also be ok.
I guess your socket is 775? You may update to a cheap Core2Duo, e.g. the E7300 (~50€). I also got this CPU, overclocked it to 3.4 GHz (with stock fan) and it runs every game smooth. But you should test your Pentium D first, it should also run fine

nop, will run like shit on that cpu. engine is not the same as css, its a portal2 modified engine.

Damn it . I think you are right mentiroso . But this cpu has really unpredictable performance. It runs games beyond its capabilities. I run Skyrim , Spec Ops the Line , Sniper Elite V2 , Mafia 2 fine. But i should check if it runs Portal 2 first.

It says that i dont pass the minimum. Everything is tick except for the f@#$@! CPU.

LOL Portal 2 runs fine in this pc on high settings. So i believe i will have a chance in CSGO
