b00bs are u ever gonna fix the vertex compression?
i cant play this game anymore since patch .21 :(


Did you try v23?

ye .23 has the same problem of vertex compression that .21 patch started :(
it was working great in .20 and it was so fun now i cant even play at all :/

Did you install/delete other software beside the Patch v21 when your error first appeared? Perhaps its due to another thing...

After putting in the patch and i try to go to any server it keeps saying "this server is using an older version" something in the lines of that....
Will i have to wait for thm to update thier servers before we can get in?

ye, i tried a complete delete and reinstall when the graphics became all messed up if thats what u mean

Why is it that after i patched from 20-21-22-23, no servers show up on the internet tab? Nor can i create favorites and enter via ip address. WHen i played before the patch it was perfectly fine and i did nothing in between except for patching the game.

Guys i think the quickest way to fix your problems is to just download the game first and just use the patch Patch_v23[0.to.23](1.0.0.56). At least this worked for me, i wasn't able to connect to servers before but now i can. I tried the no steam setti servers, but unfortunately i wasn't able to play because my ping's over 200.

man wtf when i try to connect to any server i get the following mesage in the console:
ConVarRef sb_dontshow_maxplayer_warning doesn't point to an existing ConVar
Connecting to 79.98.29.254:27015...

Host_Error: Unexepected authentication protocol 31026584!

And i cannot connect to any server.
P.S: Some servers are "Not Responding" and if i type: connect (server IP) it doesn't connect. help please :confused: :confused: :wacko:

buy video card for games, with nvidia or ati chipset!
