i downloaded and installed the lastest patch (v63), and i wanna play in v61 server.
is there anyway to undo?

i have bug in css. when im trying to join server, its disconnecting and then i can see the reason:

Server is enforcing consistency for this file:
materials/effects/flashbang.vmt

how can i fix this?

Check MD5 checksum cstrike\bin\client.dll = 44d86a915f4db3a3a1644bd2ce8f63e1, try complete reinstall, or maybe there is some software incompatibility. I believe that you can solve it

I don't get it, when I run ccs the servers don't come up and it says "steam beta must be running to make use of find servers" , what should I do now?

Probably you saved rev.ini into non-ANSI format. Open it with Notepad, press Files>save as..., select Encoding ANSI then press save.

Why? Ask admins to update server. No one will be playing on that server anyway, only few bots running and you...

Mr b00bs, i've got a one problem with newest version of game. When I'm tryin to connect to the DeathMatch Server I've got information I'm banned from the server. I didn't cheat whenever so I don't know wtf. I've got dynamic ip so I couldn't be banned. What's wrong?

So the new update come up v38 and now to change you need to edit rev.ini file in Counter-Strike Source folder.
At update v37 i just tiped in console name [color="#FF0000"]"SharpƩye[color="#FF0000"]" and i got Ʃ in my name now that does now work anymore. And if i change encoding of text file css cannot read it.

Please Help.

If you want nick with cool letters then you need to write it in as UTF-8 Hex bytes!
For SharpƩye nick it must look like this:

PlayerName=\x53\x68\x61\x72\x70\xC6\xA9\x79\x65
