i copied counterstrike from another comp to mine and there shortcut on theres works but when i try running it on mine it says the specific path does not exist check the path and try again how do i get past this ive tried creating another shortcut 2 hl2 and it says the same thing suggestions?

.Patch.v49 installed. I can't play on ANY server, setti servers also. Many people from me have the same problem as me. Any solution for this error?

Please fix this, I will wait for next update, I can't play CS:S about 2 weeks...

PS. Please stop spam about "[color=#282828]hl2.exe has stopped working error" - you make a mess...

are you delete old shortcut after patch?
"place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe" is updated in some patch so create shortcut after you patch game

@zocky, yes, old shortcut is deleted, [color=#282828]"place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe" done, but still don't work.
[color=#282828]CS:S istalled one more time, patched by v49, [color=#282828]"place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe" - still the same problem with [color=#282828]"The server you are trying to connect to is running
[color=#282828]a newer version of the game".

Hey i get a "zBlock - Illegal character in player name" after i change the original name. What is that? And don't come to me with u cheating or any other things cause i do every thing like usual. install the game, install the patch, change name "otherwise banned for 2 minutes" and thats all. This sort of square "character" appears in every name i put for player. so tell me why is that. i think it come with this last update.

Change your name in rev.ini file.(type not registered name)

Hello ,thanks for posting this game for us ,I personally really appreciate it.
anyway I've been playing in Setti's servers, but i stopped for like 4 month ago, but now i wanna play again so I've downloaded the new patch Patch v49(Cumulative) (1.0.0.69), and i have done all the (copy/paste) story ,i open the game everything is working fine and after 40 sec the game crashes :/ ,i tried with all the suggestions in F.A.Q and it still crash i guess i have to wait for the next patch right ?and for the moment i will play with bots >.<

What do u mean exaclly? You can see achievements in the main manu. "achievements" button. In case you have a problem with your achievements make a reply.

ME TOO, CAN'T REFREST SERVER LIST. BUT IT WORKS WHEN I MANUALY ADD A SERVER. WHATS THE PROBLEM HERE?
