I think it's not CSS fault. Most servers changing their Non Steam to Steam and I don't know why. I know it upset but true

I need help on skins, how can I add new skins on the v1718178?

 

1. Download the skin you want to install.

2. Go here: "..Counter-Strike Sourcecstrikecustom"

3. Create a new folder and name it whatever you want. E.g. you custom skin's name.

4. Extract all the files and folders of your custom skin you downloaded there.

5. Enjoy your custom skin.

The crash is not caused by the "-novid" command. So don't remove it.

Do you run the game as admin? What's your antivirus?

No I have Windows XP so I can't do that run as Admin and my Anti-Virus is Kaspersky Internet Security 2013

I have this problem when i start the game

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstall the application may fix this probem.

 

I reinstall game 3 time and same problem.

I run windows xp sp 3!

 

Do you run the game with the desktop shortcut? If the shortcut didn't get generated after the game installation, go to the game folder and run the "place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe" file. It will generate a desktop shortcut.
