hi, i have a problem with the patch, my anti-virus software keeps on deleting it after i download, anyone has this problem?

What's your antivirus? The patch is 100% virus-free. Your antivirus gives a false-posive alert.

i have a problem.when i click a server ,it says 'the server yourre trying to connect is running a new version of the game'. how do  i fix this shit.

Make sure you have installed the latest update patch. The current latest update patch we have released is the v6 one. You will find it at the first post of this topic.

hello peoples, im wondering, how do i get my custom bot names to replace the ones in this release? i believe the BotProfile.db is located in one of the .gcf files, correct? when i try to open any of these files with GCFscape, i dont see any files.. please help any admin

I don't know. There are no GCF files anymore, only VPK files. You can open them too using a recent version of GCFScape. You have to open the VPK files that have "dir" in their name! But you can't modify them. All your custom stuff belongs into the cstrike/custom folder. There's a readme inside it which explains the custom folder.

To install the update patch v6, it is recuired you have installed our CSS SteamPipe release first. Have you done that? And the patch can be installed only in the "Counter-Strike Source" folder.

The links are ok. You click on the link you want, it goes to the adf.ly page, you wate for 5 seconds, then you click on the "SKIP AD" button at top right and there you go!

About the Win 8.1 you said, i don't have an answer since i haven't upgrade my Win 8 yet and i don't think i will ever do it too.

Sorry but except for the utorrent link for the updates/patches which directs me to kickasstorrents none of the other links works. All these directs me to adf.ly page and gives me "This webpage is not available", and doesn't redirect me to the download page. Tried this on the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Slimboat. 

 

Luckily enough the utorrent link for updates/patches was working fine and I'm able to play the game. But please change all the other links so that it points directly to the download page instead of adf.ly page.
