Hey, am a bit of a noob so not sure on how this all works.
Have just downloaded this and there are 4 of us who want to play a Lan Game. But when you create server and start a game no one else can find it under the lan tab, or internet tab either. Main reason for Lan is internet connection is not the best at the moment. Got patch 6 and haven't had any problems playing on any of the exisiting servers (except that my ping sucks so usually get kicked out).
Is there something specific we need to do to set up a lan or can you even do lan with this version? Also if this is not the right place to be asking this knid of question could someone point me in the right direction

You can try to connect to the server manually. Start your game with "-console" startup parameter. Then in console write "connect 192.168.x.x" <- whatever your LAN IP address is.
Sometimes the releases don't work properly when hosting a game. You can try to download SRCDS (Source dedicated server) and run it in the background on your own computer. Then all 4 of you connect to that server. You can patch it with rEV emulator or vUP patcher. I think rEV emu is more popular currently.
