Yea but i think i deserve my 120minute ban, well i did support a well known cheater toble who breaks all the rules and doesn't help other players...

i bet u admins have some rules but obviously missing one:

1. DO YOUR JOB (OR AT LEAST TRY), IF U ARE TOO BUSY DON'T BAN THE ADMIN THAT DOES YOUR JOB

And its 100 times better to ban a cheater right away for 2 hours than after 15 minutes permanently

And perplexer is here only because he plays so often I'm sure 3 or 4 admins would fill the gap and couldn't possibly do as much damage.

So let's see. Toble broke the rules, got 1h ban and is here complaining. Many other players have got their admin privileges removed for breaking the admin rules. Should Toble's limited admin privileges be removed so these situations can be avoided? IMO if the problems with admin privileges continue then yes, otherwise Toble has to learn to control himself when über-admins are around. What do you think?

Here's what I can see in the logs that happened. What I also see is that Perplexer was right and Gringo was lying.

Total online time for the cheater about 4 minutes.

Ch@os was the first to say anything about cheats (shouting "aim") after Spongebob connected - didn't mention cheater's name (1). Then toble "ban" without saying the cheater's name. Syl2r "ban?" without saying the cheater's name. POROV "o.O aimbot" without saying the cheater's name. Syl2r again saying "ban him" without saying the cheater's name. Again with CAPS on. Toble asking whether Perplexer will ban the still unnamed cheater ("will you do it [ban]"). Then breezer finally says the name of the perpetrator, "sponge aim". At this point Perplexer was alive and breezer was dead (2).

When a player triggers weaponstats at the end of round he is still alive. There's 10 second cool-off at the end of each round. Check the log below.

Getting banned after this amount of idiocy is no wonder. Be happy to be only temporary banned . After reading this thread and the logs I feel like banning people too. Every sane person would.

That are at least 2 rounds but as u know when a cheater is online rounds end very soon.

All that you said about how we didn't report the cheater correctly is BS. If an admin is so incompetent not to spot a cheater that more than half a server's full people did, well that's just plain stupid, he was not alive at the time cheater raged around so he could easily spectate him and he has aim, 2 seconds and u can spot him, you don't even have to go through all the players you skip the regulars of which the server was full and u can get a pretty goo idea who's the cheater when u see someone unknown makes 5 hs in a row, and don't tell me he doesn't look who gets killed.

You said that servers from 2-5# have voteban not only for cheaters but also for the players they don't want playing there.
well guess what we don't want perplexer to have admin rights and stop being a hypocrit and don't play perplexer's lawyer.
We are not in a court room where we sue the offender and where 5 witneses say he did it and then u come along and serve us some BS that doesn't really make much difference and say he's innocent.

For fucks sake, when a new player comes in and in the first round he kills 5-6 all with headshots, very fast, do you really need someone to tell you he cheats? The reason why it takes so long for perp to ban a cheater is that he doesn't have time. God forsake that he might lose a round !

Toble broke the rule he knows very well. You are claiming the ban is for "no reason". This is the bullshit admins see all the time. Now I noticed that this event happened about 4 minutes later. So most likely annoyance was the reason for your ban. But as said, I can't be sure.

Banning noobs for being annoying isn't the same because they are innocent to their condition. They are forgiven some behaviour. They don't do it intentionally.

On Setti Pub #2 to Pub RUS I think it should be possible to vote admins out too. It makes no sense to have a Setti #1 pro player on the noob server having 100 - 0 score while other players barely get frags at all. Maybe a separate server which has top-200 Setti #1 players banned would be good. I know that Perplexer has kicked players for votebanning him and I told him he shouldn't do that. He should play at Setti #1 with his peers.

I've killed 5-6 players with headshots several times. He got 1 kill on the first round (headshot) and 5 kills on the second round (all headshots).

Admins are on the server to play too. Spectating and banning cheaters is just a side business.

k1ller did u saw what I wrote before? or it doesn't count cos it's Mr. Perplexer ,ur boss? when he had limited admin rights he banned loads of regular players ,what toble did it was nothing. Plus he don't need to spectate aimbot ,he can trust my word .
In the future when I tell perplexer who's cheating ( wh or aim )he can ban the fucker immediately ,and if I'm wrong u can perm ban me , deal?

P.S. u can ask machI[RO] how many cheaters he banned reported by me via steam chat ( probably 50 times more then mamut in his 5 month service ) ,and no 1 from them came over to forums with "I'm not cheater " bullshit.

If you were a limited admin you'd know that it is reason good enough. There are a few rules but about 50% of previous limited admins can't obey them. Toble still has the admin privilege because this was such a small incident on his behalf. There are many other admins who have lost their limited admin status for disobeying the rules.

There are no written rules for players. Common sense is what you should alaways use. If that is too much to ask then you might get banned.

It's OK to ban anyone if there's a good reason for it. Your mentality is completely wrong. As if you were constantly pushing the envelope and trying what is allowed and what is not. It doesn't work that way. When Perplexer banned you there was a reason for it. When Toble was banned there was a reason for it. Don't give a reason for a ban and you aren't banned.

You can still report cheaters to admins in-game or in Steam if you have contacts to them.

Well guys sometimes perplexer gives people temp bans just for fun I know, I guess people are just annoying him or being stupid. As long as the bans are temporary it's ok. Perm bans should be only for cheaters.
