BTW I need some help from server admins. The downloading of maps is really slow, how to solve this??? Its not my connection because it were very small maps - 600 kb, i should be able to download them in a second my internet is more than sufficient, what kind of server settings is there to fix this?

It´s from the serverside...than the connection of the server os too slow...

to 1) it´s not-steam

and btw porcov why your ping is 5??? do you have cl_cmdrate low or whta?

How will the war be played?

I mean how many maps and that stuff...

I would say standart match, so:
-BO3 (best of 3)
-mr15 (15 rounds on each side of map), at 15-15 it goes into overtime (mr6)
-and standart war server settings...i have the esl configs so we could use them.

EDIT: and i think zBlock should be installed on the server.

Latency is not that high for everyone.

Me, kardinal, shaines, monster and others have pings well below 60.

Porov can u find another server somewhere in Germany? cos when I tryed ur server today ping wasn't stable 60-100ms.

hmm...i think piranesi is a bit to big for a 5v5 war...

I would choose the 5 standart maps that are played...

de_tuscan (maybe remove this with another one because I think only me and a few know this map)

Than every team eliminates 1 map and there we have the three maps.
Than a team will randomly be picked and can choose the first map...than the loser of the map chaces the next and than again.
