I fully well know how to play wars. OK, I have never done it before, but I am convinced it goes like this:
1) I drink some beer.
2) I frag some botovs
3) I go back to 1)
Then the war is over, and I have to drink some more to forget that the day after is frickin' monday...
Isn't it how wars are played?

Any of the Setti servers is possible for this but that requires definitive requirements. Seeing this thread I don't think you can provide. <- This is mainly just to inform that you missed you chance.Sunday 18.00 CET on porov.zapto.org unless you can find something better (which I doubt.)
Distributing the match video version is still possible.

But this is totally pointless and epic.
Botov thinks we could play on his server
and no one here even bothers to look for another server.
Seems, like kwutebot said, that you don't even know how war is played
And if we played, the date and time would be: 18:00 CET on Sunday 17.10
But without a server, this is pointless. And it seems you can't find it and you ruined your chances with Setti servers
so good luck!

There is a possibility to borrow a server for few hours, there is several companies who has services like this, I dont remember any from the top of my head but try google or esl forums.
Then I suggest you use some 3rd party voip program. Mumble or TS3 are the best out there.
Seriously, you need a warconfig, easy to get, just get one from esl. I prefer 1minute 45seconds roundtime, but it's your pick.
Games are played as MR15, which means 1st team to reach 16 rounds wins the map.
I suggest playing only de_maps(who in their right mind plays hostage rescue?). Choose maps you know or it will be a mess. Considering your skill, I'd go for d2, inferno and pick the last map by eliminating maps one by one and play the one that is left as last. But if you want to stick to the competetive mappool and maps you know, i'd go for cpl_mill. Its not rly played anymore, but close enough. Train and nuke are very biased and require more teamwork for the game to be enjoyable.

1) office is not a war map ...lol
2) i bet no1 know every tactics for those maps
3) shaines de_tuscan is very played map in wars (espeacially ESL)

You are all a bunch of fucking assholes. We are not pro players and no we havent played wars before. Most of us are just average players and as you can understand we cannot find a war server that supports no-steam.
You can either come to the server have some fun and leave. You have the advantage anyway. And asking of a server with less than 60 ping is stupid, taking into account that most of us live in different countries. Even if someone had a very powerful server, if it was located in russia or something you would still have a ping of 90 - 100. I am located in Belgium with the center of europe and a very good location for a server.
