you wanna "ass" or "ask" us something

your ping could be high cause of bad connection or because of the distance to server. Where are u from?? and btw "250" isnt low ^^
1-40 is low ping, 41-80 normal ping, everything over 80 is high ping in my eyes

ok.. i from russia.. sorry for my bad english..
i play 3 month at server SOCAL (USA)..1st time i play it, my ping only 250.. and i thnk its ok although it no reach 30++..

but, now, when i connect, i got 400+++ ping.. and always being kicked.. i already make some changes like other player do.. like cl_updaterate 1 or something else.. but it doesnt work at all.. i also already reinstalled css about 3 times.. (
really2 miss to play at that server..

really2 apreciate if anyone can help me..

tell us more about your internet connection.

the minimum is to have 16 mbit and i recommend to buy fastpath if your country support that way.

The advice: Buy a better inet.
The idea: Find a RUSSIAN CSS server.

cl_cmdrate 1 is "fake" ping... cl_cmdrate 66 is the default command. Btw you can check for open programs like mtorrent or something wich uses your net. if you find close them. they are useless while playing CS:S

U should only play on servers in russia.
Or try another internet provider

Also if u play wireless (wlan) u could switch to a Lan-connection.
And check your PC for a virus! A virus can consume a lot of bandwidth

And close all other programms which need bandwidth like itunes or icq..etc

-ok i live in a real country lol with fast internet

then you close utorrent and stuff like that
servers in your country give u a better ping

once i played on a gmod server,
and i had a better ping then the host! ;/

do u guys got any idea? i already try to make TcpAckFrequency and TCPDelay
but it doesnt work.. i already play that server for 3 month and i always got low ping before (about 250)..
but now, i got 450++ ping.. and i dont know why..
if u guys do have any idea.. plss suggest to me..

Тогда поговорим по Русский. Я тоже Русский. Вообщем тебе нужно играть на Русских серверах и сортировать их по пингу так что видно гду высоко а где низко. Так жк поищи коды для пинга. Надеюсь что помог.

You can just play on Russian Servers.Nothing more can be done.This is about the distance your server is.

lol noh, but i live in cologne -one of the bigger citys
in germany where u get better internet than in middle of nowhere.
from my provider u can get up to 128 mbits x/ but thats insane

I play from Russia, and my ping is just 45ms, with 5mbits/s channel but russia is big, depends on location

idiots there is no relation between ping and download speed

my net is 1 mb and i get 90 ping to rus servers
