MvPRO has complained about reputation system because he receives lots of negative points too. That is why he needs to up-vote his own posts. I think this only-positive system is good because you can feel liked or just normal.
I didn't find a way to sort members by their reputation but sorting by profile views is possible and that quite much correlates with how much reputation points have been given: http://css.setti.inf...box=begins&st=0 (hopefully shows for non-moderators too).

Given the reputation points correlate well to perceived reputation, these serve to remind us of kind people or assholes - see boobs, phoenix, k1ller in contrast to porov, mvpro, vlado9. One must admit, this system has at least a selective success rate of 75%. That's for a fact. While on the other hand the reputation points are complete nonsense, because a russian moderator-volunteer struggles to up-vote himself? So somebody must give a shit about reputation :b

Anyway I think it's a bad idea not to let ppl (like porov) know they suck, they would just make more nonsense posts
I don't think ppl like porov really change their nonsense because of the negative rate of their posts. On the contrary, they bring it to a higher level of nonsense

Exactly! it provokes a response, and that response is usually negative.

Negative and positive feedback loops. Now we only have the positiveExactly! it provokes a response, and that response is usually negative.

I guess many -points were given to people by hate not for the content they've posted.
or an alternative can be with +-points and you can't vote until you say reason of that vote. I don't know if can be implemented on this forum.
